Today I came across someone totally by chance. Just going to the fabric store to pick up some fabric. We were both there for difference reasons.
"Nice backpack!" Her voice took me by surprise. We got to chatting. About why we were in the fabric store, then about our occupations. Soon we are talking about how we didn't want to work the rest of our lives. How we wanted to spend our time wisely and make the best of it all.
We both wanted to plan for a bright and exciting future. She mentioned she had a mentor for whom she was learning self sufficient business skills and maybe some time she would introduce us. We exchanged contact information and planned to meet again.
It's amazing who you'll meet if you are a friendly and open with others.
Who knows where this relationship or any could take me. Maybe a new opportunity, a good friend, or maybe it she will never hit me up again. Either way, taking these chances are what could lead us to our dreams.

MARIAH!! Hi it's Morgan - I hope it's ok I am looking at your blog. I just went to your YouTube channel cause I hadn't seen anything in a while, and I watched your backpacking video. Anyways ... I'm curious what happened with this person you met because it reminded me of someone I met a few years ago at Michael's when I was hanging out with my friend Alix, and I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT TILL I READ YOUR POST! I actually can't remember it super well but we were walking around and the lady next to us complimented my sweater and we all got to talking. And she was SUPER nice, and I'm thinking to myself (wow this is so cool, she's so friendly, strangers aren't all that bad!). And .. I wish I could remember more details, but I swear to god we started talking about jobs and life and I SWEAR TO GOD SHE STARTED GOING ON ABOUT HOW SHE HAD A MENTOR that was helping her with business skills. And she wanted to exchange phone numbers but either I didn't have my phone on me, or I just pretended I didn't - and so she only got Alix's number. However, even tho the conversation was all nice at first, I really started to get the vibe from what she was saying that she had the intention of recruiting us .. for something. Anywho, I think she had called Alix later that night, but Alix didn't pick up because we decided she was definitely trying to recruit us for a Pyramid Scheme or something. So, I actually wonder if the girl you met is the same person that we met haha.
